Having worked for and mentored by the late Press Powell, the CFS rod line was created with his guidance and inspiration.

Every fly rod is designed with a specific fishing application in mind. Our trout models rely on delicate tip actions for striking and fighting fish with light tippets. Steelhead/Trout models are versatile smooth flexing fly rods built to absorb long aerial runs, violent head shakes, and bring big fish to hand. For the saltwater or stripers we never forget the importance of durability and the need to deliver large flies with deadly accuracy. Many of our rods come configured with oversized guides and tip tops, fixed 1” fighting butts, 2” detachable fighting butts and 5” detachable switch rod attachments.
